Text Box: All registration and payments should be given to your child’s elementary school attn: Education Stations. REGISTRATION: $25.00 non-refundable registration fee is required at time of registration. A behavior contract/ handbook acknowledgement/ media release form (see above link) must be signed and returned to complete the registration process. Yearly registration is based on a 180 day school year, 10 equal payments. Once students are registered, they are guaranteed a spot on those given days. Note: a written notice of permanent schedule change is required 30-days in advance, which will ensure your student’s new schedule can be accommodated. Drop-ins are welcomed on a space available basis. Arrangements must be made in advance, ASAP, but no later than noon the day of desired attendance. Programming during other non-school hours will be offered, including early release days, snow days, vacation days, some holidays, and professional development days. TUITION: Tuition is due prior to the first day of each month; for example, September tuition is due by August 31st. Payments are divided into 10 monthly installments and reflect the total number of school days (180) per year. Coverage for school vacation periods, holidays and snow days are available for an additional fee. Tuition includes coverage on early release dates, providing student is registered to attend on that given day. Otherwise, the drop in rate will apply. Parents may select different schedules on each weekday, but registration is required to ensure desired schedule. Drop-in rates vary per option. Please refer to chart below. PROGRAM OPTIONS: Red Train: Free Play Only ~ 2:20 – 2:50 Blue Train: Free Play and Rotating Stations ~ 2:20 – 4:30 Green Train: Free Play, Stations and Extended Day ~ 2:20 – 6:00 *These drop in rates apply on days students are not normally scheduled to attend. During regularly scheduled days, parents may have students transfer to a later train line for $15 per interval/per day. All Drop-in payments are due within a week. Non-school Day Rates **(programs typically run 8:15 a.m.-6:00p.m.) Snow day, school year vacations, professional development, holidays = $60/day per student **Pre-registration and pre-payment are required to guarantee a spot in these non-school day programs. Drop-ins will be limited. Notification and paperwork will be sent out at appropriate intervals. Please make checks payable to “Melrose Public Schools” and reference “Education Stations” and your “child’s name” on the memo line.
